What is Dadafu?
Dadafu is a collection of magnetic tile building guides for parents and children. Each public plan has a piece list, building steps and parent prompts. Some also include roles, stories and ideas for playing with the finished build.
Does Dadafu sell magnetic tiles?
Dadafu provides digital guides, not boxes of tiles. Start with the tiles you own. The tile recommendations page links to sets sold on Amazon.
Can we use the tiles we already have?
Choose your exact set in the plan catalog, or compare your pieces with a guide’s list. Set matching checks shapes and quantities. It does not prove that every brand fits or holds the same way; check connections and stability as you build.
How do we get ready for a big castle?
Start with the castle’s full piece list: a large build may need extra shapes or more than one set. Clear a flat space and sort the pieces. Follow the guide a section at a time, taking turns holding and placing tiles. Stop at a supported section when you need a break. The digital model is a reference, not evidence of a physical build test.
Does our child need to stay on a screen?
The activity is building together with real tiles. A parent can check the guide or rotate the model when needed. With printing access, you can put the steps beside the tiles and leave the screen aside.
How do we print a guide?
Open a plan and choose Printable guide. Printing requires a parent account with printing access; the parent area shows current availability. The printable guide brings the materials, steps and parent tips together.
What would you like to make?
Choose together, then check the shapes and quantities in the guide.
